Who pays for hospice
Hospice is a Medicare/Medicaid benefit unlimited in length as long as the patient meets criteria for services. Most private insurance plans cover hospice care which may include professional visits from our team, medications, supplies and equipment related to the hospice diagnosis. Samaritan Care Hospice has a Financial Assistance Program available for patients who have no funding source.
